Abrir ListaDuring his career in the judiciary council, he was appointed inspector general of crime in the Boa Nova neighborhood (1666), judge of the Relação in Oporto (1678), judge of the Contos do Reino (1685), appeal court judge at the Casa da Suplicação (1690), deputy of the Chamber of General Commerce (no date is mentioned).
He was deputy director of the Santa Casa da Misericórdia of Viana, from 1688 and 1689, at least.
Túlio Espanca states that Domingos Reidono was a knight of the Order of Christ and that the washbasin of the church of the Misercórdia was paid by him in 1688.
Somewhere between 1688 e 1689, Dr Domingos Coelho Reidono ordered the crucified Christ to be made in Lisbon, similar to another one existing at the Misericórdia of Lisbon and that the Misericórdia of Viana still owns. The same ombudsman ordered a book of deeds of the Misericórdia to be made as well as a registration of twills and testaments, where the most ancient books and single document were copied in order to preservethe information they contained. Those books are the ones that contain the references PT/ASCMVNT/SCMVNT/B/06/Liv01 e PT/ASCMVNT/SCMVNT/B/13/Liv01 in the archive of the Santa Casa da Misericórdia.
Friar Francisco de Oliveira claims that the sonnet engraved in the fountain of Nossa Senhora de Aires was written by Domingos Reidono:
